    A decline in NCEA and University Entrance pass rates

    A decline in NCEA and University Entrance pass rates


    NZQA data shows levels have dipped from 2020, but are similar or higher than in 2019.

    Overall Level One attainment last year was at 69 percent - down from 72 in 2020 and 71 in 2019.

    Level Two rates have decreased 2.2 percent from 2020 - and Level Three declined 1.6 percent.
