Central Dunedin retailers are concerned after a worker suffered ended up in hospital following an electric shock

Central Dunedin retailers are concerned after a worker suffered ended up in hospital following an electric shock

WorkSafe has been advised, after the person was seriously injured on George Street this morning.

City councillor Jules Radich says retailers he's spoken to are concerned.

He says health and safety is a big worry for everyone - but businesses are also uneasy about the work to make George Street one-way.
