A disgraced Dunedin doctor has failed to have his registration cancellation overturned

A disgraced Dunedin doctor has failed to have his registration cancellation overturned

The Otago Daily Times reports Dr Paul Charles Bennett, a former director of Broadway Medical Centre, had a sexual relationship with a patient for more than two years.

He has also lost his bid for permanent name suppression following his appeal in the High Court at Dunedin in March.

The sexual relationship began in April 2016 and continued for 27 months, and in mid 2018 the victim's concerns were taken to the Medical Council.
