    Kiwi runner Brad Mathas has won the 800 metres men's final, at the Oceania Championships in Queensland


    The gold cements his place at next month's world champs in Oregon... Mathas is stoked.



    Team-mate Michael Dawson was second... Holly Manning was the best of the New Zealanders in the 800 metre women's race, in 3rd place.

    Earlier, Olivia McTaggart won the women's pole vault final.
