Veteran halfbacks TJ Perenara and Brad Weber have both missed the cut for the All Blacks squad named for the upcoming Ireland series

Perenara and Weber are among six players who miss out from last year's side... also no room for fellow backs George Bridge and Braden Ennor - nor for forwards Ethan de Groot and Luke Jacobson.

New Zealand coach Ian Foster's revealed that lack of game time could've counted against some players - while the likes of Blues midfielder Roger Tuivasa-Sheck have been right in the thick of it.



The other new caps are Crusaders wing Leicester Fainga'anuku , Highlanders halfback Folau Fakatava , Blues first five Stephen Perofeta and Chiefs loosie Pita Gus Sowakula .
