Good news for dairy farmers at the latest Global Dairy Trade auction overnight

Good news for dairy farmers at the latest Global Dairy Trade auction overnight

Overall prices are up 4.2 percent -- with Whole Milk Powder up 3.4 percent, and Skim Milk Powder up 4.6 percent.

JMI Wealth Director Andrew Kelleher says after trending downwards for 18 months, prices have been trending consistently upwards since August last year.

He says today's result is a very strong number, that shows demand is really picking up.
