Travellers are being urged to be prepared before flying these school holidays

Travellers are being urged to be prepared before flying these school holidays

Air New Zealand says it has 750-thousand passengers travelling domestically and internationally over the break.

It's added 30 thousand extra seats across the period in response to the demand.

Chief Operating Officer Alex Marren says there's always potential for bad weather affecting flights during the July holidays.

She says it's always worth taking out travel insurance to stay protected just in case.
