All Black and Crusaders player Sevu Reece has been discharged without conviction, after admitting a charge of wilful damage at a Christchurch party

All Black and Crusaders player Sevu Reece has been discharged without conviction, after admitting a charge of wilful damage at a Christchurch party

The 27-year-old crashed a car into a garage door, after being asked to leave a gathering the day after Christchurch Cup Day, in November last year.

Reece initially pleaded not guilty to two charges of taking a car "dishonestly and without claim" and intentionally damaging the door.

Police reduced the charge to one count of wilful damage, which he admitted.

    Name suppression lapsed today.
