    Liam Lawson's the perfect fit for the top Red Bull team, after his promotion to partner world champion Max Verstappen next season


    Motorsport expert Eric Thompson says the Kiwi driver has a lot more upside for Red Bull than now former teammate Yuki Tsunoda, who Lawson beat for the spot.

    Thompson says the 22-year-old has spent a lot of time developing the car and has a really good understanding of the technology, and ability to communicate what needs to improve it, to the engineers.
