A push for the new sex education curriculum to include information around porn and gender identity

A push for the new sex education curriculum to include information around porn and gender identity

The Government's released the draft program, which aims to provide clear guidelines to teachers and parents and introduces consent education to students as young as Year Two.

Rape Prevention Education Executive Director Debbi Tohill says porn is a key missing issue, and it's important students of all genders feel included.

She says sexual violence occurs within all relationships, so it's important they can see themselves in the teachings.

    Consultation closes May 9.
