    The shock pole sitter for the Indy 500 insists thoughts of what's possible in this year's edition of the famous race can wait for now


    Israeli driver Robert Shwartzman's stunned the field to become the first rookie to qualify fastest since 1983.

    With the race itself not until next Monday - the 25-year-old says he's going to soak up the moment with his team.



    Scott Dixon will start fourth as the best of the Kiwi drivers.

    Scott McLaughlin qualified 10th after a crash in final practice saw him miss top 12 qualifying - Marcus Armstrong will be 32nd on the grid.
