    The Wellington Phoenix have re-signed former defender Marisa ven der Meer for the upcoming A-League women's season


    Van der Meer played 23 matches across the first two seasons of the side's existence, before twice rupturing her ACL and having her contract terminated by mutual consent last August.

    She's signed a new two-year deal, boosting the Nix women's roster to 21 players.
