Police have named a wanted man, after an alleged homicide at Pahiatua, near Palmerston North - as Jeremy Robertson

A woman was found dead at an Arthur Street property last Wednesday.

It's believed Robertson - who is in his 50s - drove a red Mitsubishi from the victim's address and left it on Tarawera Road, in Rotorua.

They want to hear of any sightings of him or the vehicle.

It's not clear if he's still in the area.
