    Supercars driver Ryan Wood feels he's up to the task of dealing with the Gold Coast track surface ahead of this afternoon's race one qualifying


    The 21-year-old clocked the second-fastest time in the final practice session, behind Cam Waters.

    Wood admits the new surface has its challenges.



    Race one qualifying gets under way at 2pm.
