Belief the trending popularity of life skills and personal development classes in high schools will continue

Ministry of Education figures reveal nearly 68-thousand students enrolled in courses in the field in 2025 - up from about 49-thousand in 2021.

PPTA President, Chris Abercrombie says students who want university entrance, will still need to do certain required subjects.

He expects that'll remain, but there won't be any huge surge for the basics like English anytime soon.
