    A man has been arrested at the scene of a fire in central Christchurch this morning. Police were called to the scene on Worcester Street about 5:10am


    A 59-year-old man has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in Christchurch District Court on Monday, on charges of being unlawfully in a building and of arson.

    Police remain at the scene, alongside Fire and Emergency NZ, while a thorough scene examination is conducted.
