The Ministry of Justice has released new data from its Crime and Victims Survey conducted in the year to October 2024.
The latest survey cycle has included new questions which aim to measure New Zealanders' views on the justice system.
The results suggest less than half of adults have high levels of trust and confidence in the system.
This is even lower for victims, with only a third of those who are highly victimised saying they have a high level of trust in the system.
