    Some bad news for the many Kiwis who'll need to re-fix their mortgage again this year


    More than two-thirds of fixed-rate loans are due to come up for renewal this year - reflecting the current preference for one-year to 18-month terms.

    Most economists don't expect any more OCR cuts.

    Westpac Chief Economist Kelly Eckhold says OCR hikes are looking increasingly likely.

    He says there'll always be some question marks, but the market seems to expect two cuts this year, and his colleagues think they'll be at least one.
