Black Caps coach Gary Stead unconcerned by captain Kane Williamson's relatively lean trot with the bat in the Indian Premier League, ahead of the three-test series in England starting in a fortnight

Williamson's finished his T20 commitments to return home for the birth of his second child - he'll then head to the UK.

The captain has had scores of eight not out, nine, a duck and four in his last four innings for the Sunrisers.

    Stead says perspective is needed.

The Black Caps play Sussex in a four-day warm up starting tomorrow night.
