Out of quarantine and straight to work for American Magic helmsman Dean Barker in Auckland

The former Team New Zealand skipper is back home for just the second time in five years, with the New York Yacht Club America's Cup challenge.

Barker's given a frank assessment of where his team is at compared to its rivals.

American Magic hope to have their first Cup boat Defiant on the water sailing late next month.
