Kelsey Parker's third child has been "born sleeping"

The 34-year-old podcaster has announced the devastating news her and boyfriend Will Lindsay's son, who they named Phoenix, was stillborn, just a week before his due date

Kelsey - who has Aurelia, five, and Bodhi, four, with her late husband Tom Parker - shared a poem about her baby on Instagram, which was captioned: "Phoenix Parker-Lindsay, you will forever be loved."

The short verse read: "The grew quiet as you arrived, So loved, so longed for, yet not alive. Our precious boy, our angel light, Born with wings, took silent flight'.

"We named you Phoenix, brave and bright. A soul of love, of warmth and light Though we never heard you cry, You'll live in hearts that won't ask why. No breath you drew, no eyes to see, Still, you mean everything to me. You'll journey with us, softly near, In every sigh, in every tear."

Shortly after announcing the news, Kelsey took to her Instagram Story to thank fans in advance for their messages of support but explained she and her family would be in need of some "space and time" to grieve.

She wrote: "Before I receive an influx of lovely messages and heartfelt wishes, I wanted to just say that I truly appreciate everything you are all going to say and share'.

"But with the news being so raw, I would really like to ensure that we as a family are given space and time to process this devastating and earth-shattering news.

"I love you all and thank you for your understanding and space. Love always, Kelsey, Will, and the Parker Family."

Kelsey recently defended herself from criticism she had moved on too quickly after Tom died from a brain tumour in 2022.

She told Closer magazine: "Will's been amazing. He embraces Tom. But the bad comments stick with you.

"I think coming to our life must have been a lot, but again, I think Will was the perfect person because he doesn't overthink it.

"People will ask, 'Is Will jealous of Tom?' He doesn't feel that way about Tom, which I was always worried about, because my love for Tom is obviously like beyond."

And Kelsey believes the late Wanted singer "picked" the tree surgeon for her.

She said: "I do feel like Tom actually picked him. I think he was like, 'He's great. He's perfect for her.' "
