    North Korea has released new images of what it claims is its first nuclearpowered submarine


    CNN reports the massive vessel is similar in size to some US Navy attack subs.

    Kim Jong Un first raised the idea in 2021 - but appears to have sped up the project after South Korea was given approval by US President Donald Trump to pursue its own nuclear powered subs.
