Mycoplasma bovis is very unlikely to impact the price of dairy products here

The Government has chosen to eradicate the disease, meaning 150 thousand cattle will be destroyed.
Dairy Companies Association chairman, Malcolm Bailey, says the numbers sound big but as a percentage of total cows and production, it shouldn't have an impact on the local market.
He says we're exporting about 95 percent of total production so the local market is only about five percent of output.
