MPI believes it's improved its compensation process for farmers affected by mycoplasma bovis

Just over 14 million dollars has been paid out in full or partial payments - from 81 claims.
About 230 claims have been received.
MPI director of response Geoff Gwyn says the team is working their way through it.
He says milk production claims are problematic, but they are staying on track for interim payments within 10 days for properties with culled animals.
