Most people still think it's a bad time to buy a house, and expect property prices will continue to rise over the next year

ASB's Housing Confidence Survey says uncertainty after the election has mostly dropped away.
Chief economist Nick Tuffley says the outlook is still murky.
He says this is caused by a few competing factors: population growth, limited supply, legislation uncertainty and affordability constraints.
Tuffley says these have been hanging around making investors nervous especially, and everyone else with one eye on it.
