The ANZ bank is taking fire from a climate change group, calling for it to cut lending on fossil fuel projects

The banking giant has loaned over seven billion dollars to the oil industry since 2015, according to 350 (three fifty) Aotearoa.
They say this is despite ANZ publicly championing the Paris Climate Agreement.
Executive Director Erica Finnie says New Zealanders have been very clear they don't support the fossil fuel industry.
She says people want to know that when they're putting their money in a bank, they don't want that bank to be undermining their future.
