Queen Street Pharmacy was first robbed on Sunday October 7, and then again last Saturday.
Co-owner Brooke McKay says both times the man, armed first with a large knife and then a craft knife, stole benzodiazepine medication.
She says just before seven last night he turned up again, but the pharmacist spotted him and locked him out.
About 45 minutes later, police arrested the 29-year-old.
He's been charged with two counts of aggravated robbery, and one of attempted aggravated robbery, and is due in court today.
