    Tactix midcourter Kimiora Poi has rocketed into contention to make the Silver Ferns squad for January's Quad series in England


    Coach Noeline Taurua has named a 25 strong training squad to be whittled down to 12 on December the 14th.

    Taurua says Poi who was the talk of the Fast5 tournament across the Tasman, has been slated as the next Temepara George.



    One point 93 metre tall defender Erena Mikaere has also been included after spending the past couple of seasons with Taurua at the Sunshine Coast Lightning.
