The Silver Ferns will give Temalisi Fakahokotau every chance to make the netball World Cup squad

The Silver Ferns will give Temalisi Fakahokotau every chance to make the netball World Cup squad

The defender has just had major knee surgery and has been ruled out of contention for January's quad series.

However coach Noeline Taurua has included her in a 25 strong training squad to be culled to 12 for the trip to the UK.

She says Fakahokotau could get a chance to prove herself in the ANZ Championship so deserves to be in the environment.

Taurua says there's a slight start she could be ready but with any ACL there's always a question mark.
