Mental disintegration via the big screen has added to the New Zealand cricketers' woes during the second test against Pakistan at Dubai

Mental disintegration via the big screen has added to the New Zealand cricketers' woes during the second test against Pakistan at Dubai

The Black Caps are 131 for two heading into the fourth day.

They require another 197 runs to make Pakistan bat again.

Ross Taylor's unbeaten on 49 - he says New Zealand's first innings capitulation for 90 inside 36 overs was given plenty of scrutiny when the broadcaster replayed them.

If there's a whiff of optimism for New Zealand, both Taylor and fellow not out batsman Tom Latham both made centuries at the venue during the 2014 fixture.
