Silver Ferns coach Noeline Taurua's feeling inspired by what she's seen after day one of the latest camp in Auckland

Silver Ferns coach Noeline Taurua's feeling inspired by what she's seen after day one of the latest camp in Auckland

A group of 25 are currently vying for a spot in the squad for next month's Quad Series, during what is the first camp since October's Constellation Cup campaign.

The players partook in a range of fitness and physical testing yesterday, and Taurua says she's encouraged by what the players have done in their time off.

She says they've worked really hard as shown by the results and their intent is amazing, so she's looking forward to seeing what that looks like as the week progresses.

Noeline Taurua will name her squad to contest the Quad Series on Friday.
