    Police are seeking witnesses to a Hamilton liquor store robbery where the shop attendant was assaulted


    About 7.30 on Sunday night, two men entered the Thirsty Liquor store on Bader Street - and tried to steal several bottles of alcohol.

    When the shop attendant tried to stop them, the men assaulted him.

    The pair were last seen running along Bader Street towards Normandy Ave.

    Anyone with information is asked to contact Hamilton police.
