A search for a swimmer who's missing at Whangarei Falls will resume in the next few hours

A search for a swimmer who's missing at Whangarei Falls will resume in the next few hours

Emergency services were called about ten to five last night, after the man failed to resurface.

The search was called off shortly after six but a guard has been in place overnight.

Divers have been called in to help, and the swimming spot is closed for the time being.
