A successful opening day for the All Blacks sevens at the Hamilton world series event, but still room for improvement

The men's side have opened their tournament with three comfortable victories against Japan, Canada and Spain, to top their pool and qualify for the quarterfinals, where they'll meet Australia.
Coach Clark Laidlaw says they've been good so far, and are getting close to their best.
He says they're ahead of where he expected, but today will be a different day.
