The mayor is opening a photographic exhibition entitled "Thx 4 the Memories" from the Avonside communities at Retreat Reserve this morning .
And a theatrical journey of resilience "Earthquakes and Butterflies" - based on the novel - is taking the stage at the Christchurch Transitional Cathedral tonight.
