Students at a private Manukau business school are waiting for refunds

Students at a private Manukau business school are waiting for refunds

The NZ Institute of Technical Training was deregistered by the Qualifications Authority on Friday.

It says the school had wrongly marked many assessments as a 'pass'.

NZQA says the school's 76 students will get fees refunded through an insurance scheme funded by the export education levy - and it will help them enrol in other courses.
