Cheese rolls and chilly mornings have been among the things Lenize Potgieter's had to get used to as a member of the Southern Steel this ANZ Premiership season

Cheese rolls and chilly mornings have been among the things Lenize Potgieter's had to get used to as a member of the Southern Steel this ANZ Premiership season

The South African shooter made the move to the Deep South after two seasons with the Magic.

She says the playing style of the Steel has been very different to what she's used to as well.

Potgieter says her goal was to challenge herself and get out of her comfort zone while learning new experiences, but it's been much better than the start of the season.

The Steel host the unbeaten Central Pulse Dunedin in a top of the table match in Dunedin tonight.
