A te reo Maori programme for school staff is an important first step

A te reo Maori programme for school staff is an important first step

This year - Te Ahu o te Reo Maori - is being offered in Waikato, Taranaki-Whanganui, Kapiti-Horowhenua, and the South Island.

Post Primary Teachers' Association president Jack Boyle says he hopes it will be extended very quickly.

He's sure the need will grow and hopes more resources will follow.
