The Wellington Phoenix have already begun the hunt for their new coach

The 'Nix have had to readjust their management plans, after coach Mark Rudan told them he won't see out the second year of his contract with the A-League football club to return home to Sydney.

General manager David Dome says they want to find his replacement as soon as possible.

He says it's difficult as there are restraints around what coaches are doing, but they do want to resolve it quickly.
