Data gaps mean we aren't getting the full picture on the state of our environment

Today's Environment Aotearoa 2019 report was missing key data.
Stats NZ Chief Executive, Liz MacPherson, says that includes marine life, impacts of erosion and the size of urban areas.
She says it's important the data is brought together to paint a picture - so things can be improved.
