Questions remain over the sudden resignation by the Chair of the NZ Transport Agency

Michael Stiassny quit yesterday, just one year into his three year contract, saying he'd completed what he set out to do.
But Pattrick Smellie from Businessdesk says he's been told Stiassny, Auckland Transport and the Transport Minister had reached loggerheads over the six billion dollar Auckland Light Rail Project.
Stiassny's reportedly been asking whether the project was too expensive.
Transport Minister Phil Twyford has been approached for comment.
