Coach Stephen Kearney has confirmed he wants the Broncos half at the NRL club from next year onwards, though speculation suggests Nikorima could move across the ditch in the coming weeks.
Nikorima won't play for the Broncos in tomorrow night's match against the Rabbitohs so he can assess his options.
Kearney says anything before 2020 is in the hands of the Broncos, and Nikorima's agent.
Meanwhile, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, David Fusitu'a and Blake Green have been named to face the Knights on Sunday, but will still need to prove their fitness after battling injuries.
