A Hastings District councillor is annoyed about Mongrel Mob behaviour over the weekend

A Hastings District councillor is annoyed about Mongrel Mob behaviour over the weekend

Damon Harvey has been told locals and tourists were prevented from going up Te Mata Peak, because gang members were carrying out a "patching" ceremony there.

He says people felt shocked and intimidated.

Harvey says Te Mata Peak shouldn't be closed off just so new members can be welcomed into the gang.
