That's the message from coach Stephen Kearney as Luke finds himself on the outer at Mount Smart.
The kiwi international wasn't needed against the Dragons at the weekend, and should Nathaniel Roache be fit, is unlikely to play against the Panthers on Friday.
Kearney says Luke simply has to play well when he gets an opportunity in whatever grade he plays.
He says it's about preparing well and playing well no matter how many games you have played.
