Cryptopia - which specialises in online trading of digital currencies like Bitcoin - lost an estimated twenty million New Zealand dollars in the January breach.
Today they've announced Grant Thornton New Zealand have been brought in.
The company says the highly-publicised hack had a severe impact on their trade - and management decided appointing liquidators is in everyone's best interest.
The liquidators are focused on securing Cryptopia's assets - and will be contacting all customers and suppliers in the next few days.
