The Commerce Commission has closed its investigation into businessman David Ferrier's purchase of 70 percent of Cavalier Wool Holdings Limited

It's the country's only scouring business - and Ferrier already owned the country's only wool dumping operation.
The Commission had concerns of him setting prices and quality for the services
Since the Commission opened its investigation in October, Ferrier has sold his majority interest in New Zealand Wool Dumping Limited - which the Commission says resolves its concerns about competition.
