Erin Nayler's been mindful to not get too big for her gloves ahead of the women's football world cup

Erin Nayler's been mindful to not get too big for her gloves ahead of the women's football world cup

The veteran Football Ferns goalkeeper's the most experienced shot-stopper in the New Zealand squad with 61 caps to her name.

Victoria Esson and Nadia Olla are the other goalies and have made three and one appearances respectively.

Nayler says they're a really tight unit and all work well together.

She says they can learn off her, but she can also pick up things off them as well and they continue to learn off each other.

Victoria Esson, CJ Bott, Betsy Hassett and Rebekah Stott will miss today's match against the world number one USA due to club commitments.
