Taranaki Regional Council's reaffirmed its vision for quake-prone Yarrow Stadium

Taranaki Regional Council's reaffirmed its vision for quake-prone Yarrow Stadium

It's approved a revised repair and refurbishment plan to upgrade the stadium that minimises the impact on ratepayers.

The project will now go ahead on a budget of up to 50 million dollars - 5 million less than the initial proposal.

Council Chair, David MacLeod says there was real concern over the cost in many submissions.

Outer field updates remain on hold pending further discussions with the wider sporting community.
