Hannah Tamaki has a well-used answer to questions about homosexuality

Hannah Tamaki has a well-used answer to questions about homosexuality

She's announced her leadership of a new "family values" political party - Coalition New Zealand.

Hannah was standing alongside her husband Brian Tamaki, who leads Destiny Church, and has previously told congregations gay marriage caused the Christchurch earthquakes.

When asked for her thoughts on the issue, she said she couldn't hate gay people because she has a gay niece and nephew.

Tamaki says Coalition New Zealand won't seek to repeal marriage equality legislation.
