Andrew Pragnell, who's held the role in an interim capacity, since last July, will stay on fulltime.
NZF's opted to stick with him to to allow continuity, following the findings of the Muir report last year.
Martin's departure came less than two weeks after a dozen Football Ferns wrote to him and the Executive Committee complaining about the conduct of coach Andreas Heraf, saying they wouldn't play again if Heraf remained in charge.
Heraf subsequently resigned, with his additional job as technical director still vacant.
